Last night at the Elbo Room, we had the 5th edition of Thats The Blap and it was a huge!! A packed house of folks ready for dope beats and dope mc's. I personally wanted to thank everybody who was in the building and all the performers who really fucking shined last night. Myx tv filmed the whole event and parts will be available on Comcast On Demand, so the whole cable world will be able to check the madness.

Looks like the long awaited Z-Man album, "Six pack Of Dynamite" will be released sometime this summer, either July or August. Z-Mainy will be hitting the road running with a west coast tour and possibly some east coast dates as well. It's gonna be a hot summer when this album drops, nothing but heat...

In Hip Hop music, the remix has become big business. Artists ranging from Pete Rock to Diddy have had great success in taking a good song, and making it great. Then came Danger Mouse. It all started with Jay-Z's "The Black Album" . Def Jam/Rocafella released the acappellas, and folks went ill trying to remix the great Hova. Danger Mouse came out the victor with his mashup of The Beatles' "White Album", and Jay's own "Black Album"- Titled ?"The Grey Album. So this time around when the acappellas for Jay's new album, "American Gangster", were released- everyone got in on the action. BOAC has stepped up with "International Gangster". The concept is simple, he sampled music from around the world, chopped it, flipped it, played instruments over it, got it extra banging, and he is giving it away for a free download as a thank you to his many supportive fans worldwide. As a bonus, Boac brought in the Legendary Dj Teeko for the song "I Know". Dj Teeko is a recent winner of the Berklee School of Music 2006 Milestones Innovative Producer Contest, and winner of The I.T.F. Championship, along side his crew 4ONEFUNK.

CONCEIT, BOAC,DNAE BEATS NEW YEARS SHOW IN NYC
We opened up for Talib Kweli and Simple Plan for Youtube's New Years Eve show. Hella fun. They put us up @ The W hotel in N.Y. and we even got an afternoon to cop some kciks @ ALIFE and Flight Club. Shout out to Jeben, Samsung, Youtube and Google for showing us alot of love out there.
